Sales Agents

We have opportunities for freelance Sales Agents to sell Outoors TV's portfolio of commercial packages to potential advertisers within the outdoors market.

Ideally, Sales Agents will be individuals who are already active within the outdoors community, have contacts within brands, distributors, travel companies or retailers & be confident in selling advertising services. Agents will understand & value Outdoors TV's aims & want to be a part of the channel's development.

As a Sales Agent you will have the opportunity to develop a business based on sales of advertorial programmes, product placement, web advertising & programme sponsorship to brands within a given genre, rather than a traditional sales territory. For example, we will be offering agencies for cycling, paddlesports, mountaineering etc, rather than geographical areas.

This approach means that our agents can utilise their specific expertise in a particular sport or passtime to develop ongoing repeat sales, keeping a finger on the pulse of a single genre, rather than trying to understand all the opportunities that might exist within a territorial area among numerous different sports.

Sales Agents are freelance operators & are remunerated through a commission structure, so this is a role that will suit someone who is looking to supplement existing activities on a part time basis. There are no targets or demands made for performance - agents are free to develop sales to meet their own aims & the potential for repeat income generation is significant with good management.

We do require minimum performance in order to retain a premium genre based agency, however this should not effect anyone serious about developing a successful Outdoors TV Sales Agency.
