New 'Featured Video' section for Outdoors TV

Outdoors TV will be creating a new 'Featured Video' section for the website, to include embedded videos from You Tube & Vimeo. The section is designed to showcase some of the best outdoors videos available to share online, some of which may be missed, if not searched for directly.

At Outdoors TV, all the programmes we show have been produced exclusively for the site but there are also large volumes of video clips out there that are invaluable to the the outdoors enthusiast. One good example is video footage of the recent Liffe Descent - a canoe race where race kayaks, among other craft, tackle white water sections of the Liffe River in Ireland, something akin to F1 cars in a rally cross race!

By scouring the internet & selecting the best outdoors videos we can find, we hope to introduce some of our viewers to clips they might otherwise not have seen.

The 'Featured Video' section will go fully live in January 2010, with a selection of five videos showing each month.
